The Remita Corporate Champions Cup 2017 – The Pinnacle of Corporate Nigeria football is here again!
Traditionally, the Corporate Nigeria Games season flags off with The Remita Corporate Champions Cup.
The tournament which is sponsored by Remita of SystemSpecs is making a comeback after a temporary absence last season.
The Football Champions and Runners-up from the various industry games will feature in the season opening Championship to determine Corporate Nigeria’s “Champion of Champions”.
The competition which is an 8-team event, played on a knock out basis will serve as an ideal precursor to prepare athletes ahead of their individual industry games, encourage inter-industry networking and bonding, as well as create awareness for the season’s activation.
The qualified teams are;
The Champions of the Nigeria Bankers Games 2016 – Fidelity Bank, known for being the NBG Champions back to back, most successful team in Corporate Nigeria Game. RC3 debutants.
First Bank as Runners up of the Nigeria Bankers Games, 2016, they are also one of the most consistent team in Corporate Nigeria Games, back to back NBG Silver medallist and RC3 debutant.
MTN – Runners up of the Nigeria Telecoms games, 2016, most successful football team in the NTG and one of two teams to have featured at every Corporate Champions Cup.
IHS Africa – Champions of the Nigeria Telecoms Games, 2016, Team with most company wide support and fan base. RC3 debutants.
Leadway Assurance – Defending Champions of the Nigeria Insurance Games, Most Successful football team in the Nigeria Insurance Games and Inaugural Champions of Corporate Champion Cup.
