In 2009, the insurance sector embraced the work-life balance movement through the corporate sporting event. This led to the debut of the Nigeria Insurance Games (NIG).
The Nigeria Insurance games was established with the aim of creating a platform where employees could keep fit while promoting bonding and networking across the insurance industry.
Over the years, top-tier insurance companies such as Leadway Assurance, NEM Insurance, Union Assurance, Cornerstone Insurance, Sovereign Trust Insurance, and AXA Mansard have actively participated.
It is set to make it to its 7th season in 2025.
