The Season 7 of the GTBank Lagos State Principals Cup has kicked off.
The beginning of the new season was announced at a press conference held on Thursday, 28th January 2016, at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Present at the event was The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Sports, Mr Deji Tinubu, who applauded the fairness of the competition to date. He advised the students to ensure they put in their best performance both in class and on the football field.
This year, the tournament is expected to feature about 360 teams in the male and female categories, higher than the 355 of last season.
The preliminary matches started on Monday the 1st of February, 2016, across the 6 districts of the State.
GTBank Principals Cup football competition provides a veritable platform for students to explore their potentials and acquire life changing skills.
