It was the turn of Sari Iganmu Senior Secondary School, Coker, Orile on Wednesday, 5 April 2017 to welcome the PwC Chess4Change Visitation Team. The Principal, Mrs Okeke was on-hand to welcome Mrs Adenike Abiola; Head, Projects, MediaVision Limited who led the delegation.
Speaking, Mrs Okeke thanked PwC for the initiative and highlighted the benefit of partaking in various aspects of the program as a way to expose the students. She further stated that education does not occur in the classroom alone as programs like the mentorship scheme and Grand Slam Tournament broadens the knowledge base of the students and brings them in contact with their peers thereby improving their social skills.
