One of these aspiring footballers eagerly waiting to be part of the Nigeria national team is Chinasa Nneji of Queens College, Yaba.

She looks to earning a place in the Nigeria Women national team in few years time.

Aside from her heroics at the Onikan Stadium, she was also named tournament’s Most Valuable Player.

While expressing her delight with the victory, she revealed that her ambition is to get a national team invite in years to come.

“I’m very happy and very delighted. Infact, I’m speechless and I give all glory to God. Also, I want to thank my coach for the opportunity to show my skills and captain the school team.”

“Winning the trophy and the best player award is a double blessing for me and will definitely not forget this day in a hurry.

“My target now is to keep working harder and I believe that if I am playing regularly, I can be in the national team in three or four years’ time. That is my dream and I am working towards it.”
