The draws for the GTBank-Heritage Cup Season 4 was held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the board room of King’s College Lagos.
The draws which is the curtain raiser for the GTBank-Heritage Cup Competition had members of the Lagos First Generation Heritage Colleges Association (LAFGHECA) chaired by the Principal King’s College;
Otunba Oladele Olapeju, GTBank delegation led by the Senior Manager – Corporate Communication- Oyinade Adegite, the project consultant- MediaVision Limited led by its Executive Director; Mr. Jimi Sogbesan and members of the press in attendance.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman of LAFGHECA Otunba Olapeju commended GTBank for sponsoring the competition after which he handed the baton to Mr. Sogbesan who moderated the event.
In the Boys category, King’s College Lagos, St. Gregory’s College, Anwar-Ul-Islam Model, College Agege and St. Finbarr’s College were the top seeds while the Girls category had defending champion Queens College, Yaba and Ansar-Ud-Deen Girls High School, Itire as top seeds.

In her closing remarks, Senior Manager; Corporate Communications- Oyinade Adegite reiterated GTBank’s commitment to the competition and announced a new name for the competition which will be known as THE GTBANK MASTERS CUP.
The competition starts on October 28 with familiar foes King’s College taking on Methodist Boys’ High School.
The GTBank-Heritage Cup – a competition organized for pedigree schools in Lagos- is in its fourth season with Eko Boys High School and Queens College Yaba the defending champions in the Boys and Girls Category respectively.
