The Press Unveil and Semi Final Draws of the GTBank-Ogun State Principals Cup 2013/2014 took place on Tuesday, 3rd June, 2014 at the conference room of the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto Abeokuta.
Dignitaries at the event include – Head of Brand GTBank – Mr. Lashe Osoba, CEO MediaVision – Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh, Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Youth & Sports – Mrs. M.A. Olowonmi, Permanent Secretary – Ministry of Education, Science and technology Ogun State – Alhaji Ishola Adegbola Ambali , Corporate Social Responsibility Unit GTBank- Tolulope Onipede and Seun Balogun, as well Directors from the Ministry of Youth and Sport and Education.
The programme kicked off with the opening remarks by Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh, CEO of MediaVision Ltd who emphasized that the Principals Cup is fully committed to bringing out champions.
In his speech, the Head of Brand Management Guaranty Trust Bank, Mr. Lashe Osoba said, the Principals Cup goes beyond football but to encourage youths to go after their dreams.
The highlight of the event was the Semi Final draws in the Boys and Girls category. At the end of balloting the Schools were paired thus for the Semi Finals –
In the Girls’ category; Remo Divisional High School Sagamu will face Alamuwa Grammar School Ado-Odo in the first semifinal while Our Lady of Apostles Senior Secondary School will battle it out with Egba Owode Grammar School in the second semifinal.
In the Boys category; Remo Divisional High School Sagamu will take on Pakoto High School in the first semifinal while the second semifinal will see Adeola Odutola College fight for a place in the final against Yewa Egbado College, Ilaro.
All the matches will take place at the MKO Abiola Stadium Kuto Abeokuta starting at 9am.
