The Lagos State-GTBank Principals Cup Competition – the biggest grassroots football Competition in West Africa, has reached the quarter-finals phase.IMG_3184

Thirty two (32) matches were played during the state preliminaries, across 8 centers which include – Dairy Farm Senior Secondary School Agege, Egan Grammar School Igando, St. Gregory’s College Obalende Ikoyi, Ansar-ud-deen College Isolo, Lagos State Civil Service Igbogbo Ikorodu, Olusosun Primary School Ojota, Keke High School Ifako Ijaiye and Oriwu Model College Ikorodu.

The state preliminaries which were played on Monday 17th, Wednesday 19th and Friday 21st of March 2014 had the boy’s category comprising of eight (8) groups of three teams per group and the girls category comprising of four (4) groups of four (4) teams per group.
The top team from the boy’s category and the top two (2) teams from the girl’s category qualified to play in the quarter finals.
Below is the list of qualifiers that emerged from both the Boys and Girls Categories respectively.

The quarter finals of this prestigious competition will come up at the beginning of the next academic term (3rd Term) with a mini draw to determine the pairings for the remaining stages of the competition.
