GTBank-Lagos State Principals Cup
The GTBank – Lagos State Principals Cup is the biggest grassroots football in West Africa and its in the 6th season. Over 3000 secondary schools in Lagos have participated in the Competition since inception and the number keeps growing. The competition has produced outstanding young talents and has encouraged students to stay in school.
The Motto of the Competition is “Playing by the Rules” emphasizing the importance of abiding by the rules of the game. Birrel Avenue Senior Secondary School, Sabo and Ikotun Senior High School, Ikotun are the current champions in the Male and Female category respectively.
This is another football tournament for the First Heritage schools, colleges and private secondary schools in Lagos State. It just concluded its 4th season which saw St. Gregory’s College and Queens College crowned Champions.
The Competition has the likes of Kings College, St. Gregory’s College, St. Finbarr’s College, Queens College, Methodist Boys, CMS Grammar School, Ansar Ud Deen Schools participating in a thrilling atmosphere filled with history and pride.
GTBank-Ogun State Principals Cup
With the success of Lagos State Principals Cup, the competition started in Ogun State 3 years ago and it has been a success story.
After 3 seasons, the competition keeps gaining momentum as it shoots young stars to limelight.
