Ultimate Star Vs Double Star

Ultimate Stars, the youngest team in the competition became the second team to reach the finals of the Freekick Challenge after another tightly contested battle with Double Star.

 ULTIMATE STARS

Ultimate stars the only team unbeaten in this competition with 4 straight wins now had their fourth player back after being absent in their last group games in person of Peter Emmanuel and this addition made the difference with the player scoring the last joker penalty kick to give Ultimate Stars 35 points, 15 points above Double Star.  They will now look to carry this fine form into the finals and hope to win the ultimate prize money of 100,000 naira.

ELITE FC

Elite Fc a team that has in its possession arguably the best player of the tournament in person of Dodo Aliyu put on a fine performance in their Semi Final clash against Police Machine and once again it was their goalkeeper Dodo Aliyu that saved the day. Making unbelievable saves and making sure he got his name on the Score sheet twice to deny Police Machine any chance of coming back into the game. He will now look to continue his brilliant form against Ultimate stars in the finals that will take place at the legacy pitch, National Stadium, Surulere on the 30th of August, 2014.
