The die is cast in the inaugural edition of the Freekick Challenge as Ultimate Stars of Agege, Double Star of Egbeda, Police Machine and Elite FC battle it out in the semi-final on Saturday at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium Surulere to determine who will make it to the first ever final.
The first match of the day will see Group A winners Elite FC taking on Police Machine. Elite FC parading one of the best players in the competition; Dodo Aliyu will be hoping to pip Police Machine who conceded the highest number of goals in the group stage. Police Machine on their part have the services of their talismanic goal scorer Eke Frank to fire them into the final.
Group B winners, Ultimate Stars, parading the youngest team of the competition and counting among its rank a winner of the GTBank Lagos State Principals Cup, Raphael Ogunrindin will trade tackles with Double star who will be banking on team work and the experience of their goal keeper– Ayodeji Jacobs, to marshal his team to victory.
