The Nigeria FMCG Games entered week 3 with an exciting battle of champions and the kick-off of indoor games at the Digital Bridge Institute, Cappa, Illupeju-Lagos.
Remita Corporate Champions Cup holders, Nestle took on defending champions, Unilever in a thrilling football game, where both teams seemed like they were on the pitch to prove that were really champions. They kept up with their strong defense all through the game, refusing to give each other a chance.
The first half of the game was highly competitive, with no goals from both teams. This was repeated in the 2nd half, as both teams were unable to break the deadlock, ending the game in a goalless draw.
MVP of the match was Nestle’s Gabriel Pele.
Teams in the FMCG Games also competed in indoor games, including Chess, Scrabble and Table Tennis.
The Nigeria FMCG Games 2016 is gradually building up to an exciting climax.
