Telecoms giants, MTN completed a trophy hattrick on Sunday, September 6, 2015 after they defeated first timers, IHS at the Finals.
The game started on a high tempo as both sides strived to get the advantage but it was MTN that was pressing more for the goal. Their efforts was rewarded when Abubakar Yusuf slotted in his first goal of the tournament.
The game ended 1-0 at half time.
In the second half, IHS came in stronger, seeking for the equalizer that will balance out the score line. They came close a few times but the MTN defence was rock solid.
Then Abubakar struck again few minutes before the final whistle and that delivered the trophy to MTN. The game ended 2-0 in favor of the ‘Yello’ Boys.
