It was a cagey encounter as both teams were evenly matched.
Whitesands came into the game on the back of two victories while Jibril Martins Memorial Grammar School were looking for their first point in the competition.
Whitesand dominated the first half but their poor finishing in front of goal let them down as the half ended without a goal. In the second half, Jibril Martin woke-up from their slumber restricting the boys from Lekki to their own half as they launched wave of attacks; and just like Whitesand, the Jibril Martin boys were also lacking the clinical edge to bury their chances.
At the end of the encounter both sides shared the spoils shooting Whitesand to the summit of the table with Jibril Martins rooted to the bottom of the log.
