Men’s Football Quarter-Finals
First Bank and Access Bank clashed in a thrilling showdown that ended in a draw, only for Access Bank to knock out the defending champions in a dramatic penalty shootout, while Stanbic IBTC stormed into the semi-finals with John Okon’s 35th-minute strike.
UBA suffered a 0-1 defeat against FCMB, as Egbuonya Kanayo’s strike sealed FCMB’s place in the next round, FCMB coming good at the most needed time. The brand new UBA Team will leave to fight another day.
