The 7th edition rounded up with the Grand Slam Tournament. This is a 3 days event that brings together all the participating schools in the Chess4change initiative. Ireti Senior Grammar School, Falomo Ikoyi emerged champions in the Team Category and Iheayichukwu Michael also from Ireti Senior Grammar School, won the individual category.
Highlight of the day was an exhibition match between the winner of 7th edition Iheayichukwu Michael and the winner of the 6th edition (Rahmon Idowu)
