The much anticipated NTG 2016 final is here!!!
After three weeks of excitement, fun, tension and victories the stage is set for the grand finale.
The NTG Football finals promises to be exciting and entertaining with last year’s runner up IHS battling the 2015 NTG Champions – MTN in what is fast becoming the “El Classico” of the NTG Games.
MTN aims to win the football trophy back to back while IHS will be gunning for payback after losing to MTN in the 2015 NTG Finals.
The third place match will see LM ERICSSON and ETISALAT trade tackle.
There would also be a novelty match between First Bank FC and Chicken Republic FC to kick start the day’s proceedings.
Medals will be awarded to winners in all events – Football, Athletics, Chess, Scrabble, Tennis and Table Tennis.
The Closing Ceremony of the 2016 NTG will feature:
- Novelty Match – First Bank vs. Chicken Republic
- Third Place Match – LM Ericsson vs. Etisalat
- The Final Match – IHS vs. MTN
- Presentation of Gifts and Medals – Other Events
- Presentation of Awards
- Presentation of Gifts and Medals – 2nd and 3rd Place (Football)
- Presentation of Trophy – Football Champions
The finals will hold on Saturday, September 24 2016, at the DBI Sports Stadium, Cappa, Oshodi.
