MediaVision Limited is the Project Consultant for GTBank for the Principals Cup. The tournament is held annually and sponsored by GTBank.
The Principal’s Cup is the Biggest Grassroots Football Competition in West Africa; with more than 1316 schools participating in Lagos, Ogun, Rivers and and Delta States.

The competition started in 2009 in Lagos and has since spread to 3 other states in the country.
About 2000 Matches are played annually en-route to a successful final which holds at the biggest stadiums with the Executive Governor of each state as the Chief Host.

GTBank Masters Cup (Formerly Heritage Cup) Competition is a GTBank-sponsored Football Competition for some of the oldest schools in Lagos State.
The competition involves First-generation colleges in Lagos State and selected pedigree private schools across the state. The annual tournament was created as a platform to identify local football talents and engender friendly competition amongst these revered institutions.

The inaugural edition of the GTBank Masters Cup had the likes of Kings College, St. Gregory’s College, St. Finbarr’s College, AUD College Isolo, Anwar-ul Islam Model College, Western College and Corona Schools in 2012.
Anwar-ul Islam Model College emerged champions in a pulsating final match against Kings College that ended 1 – 0. The 2013 tournament again featured both teams and the same winner, though this time 2-1.

The GTBank – Lagos State Principals Cup Season 8 Finals took place on  Wednesday, 30th May 2017 at Teslim Balogun Stadium where Ijaiye Housing Estate Grammar School, Ojokoro and Isale Eko Grammar School, Lagos Island emerged as champions in the male and female categories respectively. 

 


 

 FIDELITY NYSC GAMES

MediaVision is the project consultant for the prestigious NYSC Games sponsored by Fidelity Bank. The competition holds annually.

Formerly known as Director-General’s Cup, it serves as a platform for corps members drawn from all states in Nigeria to interact, share ideas, and further expand the frontiers of friendship and unity among them.
The event starts in 8 zonal centrals distributed geographically across the country and culminates in a final in Abuja for 1 week.
The maiden edition held in February 2013 at the Area 10 Sports Complex (Old Parade Ground) with sports such as Football (Male), Volleyball (Female) and Athletics.
Over 350 athletes participated in the 2013 final with Edo State emerging Volleyball Champions and Cross River State as Football Champions.

 


 

 PwC CHESS4CHANGE

CHESS4CHANGE is a Chess Developmental Initiative conceptualized by MediaVision Limited.

CHESS4CHANGE is a platform which develops strategic thinking as well as re-directs and harnesses the potentials in our youths, thereby empowering them to compete in an ever-changing world. Chess has been proven to impact creativity, teach independence, inspire self-motivation and show reward hard work with success.

The Grand Slam Tournament for the 3rd Edition of the PwC Chess4Change initiative, which was held at Indoor Sports Hall at Teslim Balogun Stadium, came to a close on Friday 16th, June.

Kings College, Victoria Island, Lagos for the third time in a row emerge champions, both in the school and individual category.

This exciting project is sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). PwC is one of the world’s largest professional services firms that help organisations and individuals create the value they’re looking for including tailored Tax, Assurance and Advisory solutions for every business challenge.

A number of Selected Secondary Schools  took part in the CHESS4CHANGE pilot. These schools are located within the Island and Ikoyi Axis – which represents a direct region of influence for PwC (Their headquarters are located on the Island). They include;

  • Akande Dahunsi Memorial High School.
  • Government Senior College, V.I.
  • Kuramo Senior College.
  • Kings College, Lagos.
  • Holy Child College, Ikoyi.
  • Falomo Senior College.

The CHESS4CHANGE programme involved chess clubs being set up in each of these schools. Experienced Chess teachers served as facilitators who instructed interested students on the rudiments and techniques of Chess twice weekly. At the end of a 3-month long session, the best chess players from all the schools will converge for a Grand Slam Tournament to determine the outstanding players.

Over time, the performance of participating students in the programme will be monitored and evaluated to determine their academic improvements.

This programme is being sponsored by PwC as its Cooperate Social Responsibility with the Objective of “Adding Value and Changing Lives”.


 

OSUN CALISTHENICS

MediaVision Limited was appointed as exclusive Marketing Consultants for Calisthenics Program in Osun State.
This project was conceived by his Excellency, the Executive Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
It is aimed at building a new generation of youth who are physically robust and mentally sound whilst reducing menace and deviant behaviour amongst the secondary school students.
The project involves students of post-primary education from Junior Secondary School Class 1 to 3.
Over 8,000 students from across the state participate in this unique program.
The maiden edition took place during the first-year anniversary of the government in December 2011 at Oshogbo Stadium the capital of State of Osun.
