MTN EMERGES NIGERIA TELECOMS GAMES OVERALL CHAMPIONS
Etisalat might have won the most sort after gold medal in the Nigeria telecoms games, which is the football gold by successfully defending their football title against rivals Mtn but Mtn kept a strangle hold on the overall medals, by emerging the champions of the Nigeria Telecoms Games again for the 4th consecutive year.
It was a keenly contested tournament as Etisalat came all out to upstage Mtn as the overall champions though they succeeded in winning the highest number of medals – 21 medals compared to Mtn’s 11 medals .Of note is that out of Mtn’s 11 medals 7 were gold medals whereas Etisalat could only muscle 6 gold medals.
The 2014 edition witnessed a very high level of sportsmanship across the industries in all the events competed for.
