Saturday, 3rd February 2018 was another exciting match day in the 2018 GTBank Masters Cup (Season 7) as the competition entered its seventh day.
Three Matches were played across two centers.
Avi-cenna International School (0-0) Eko Boys High School
The city of Akoka lit up in a pulsating encounter as both teams locked horns at St. Finbarr’s Collge but neither sides could find the back of the net. Amute Chekwube of Avi-Cenna International School, Ikeja won the Most Valuable Player of the match Award following a standout performance despite the disappointing result.
Dowen College, Lekki (0-4) Anwar-Ul-Islam
It was a goal rush from Anwar-ul-islam College, Agege as they whitewashed Dowen College in a fun-filled encounter by four goals to nil (two goals in each half). Zubair Mustapha of the winning team won the Most Valuable Player of the Match Award.
Corona School (1-4) Atlantic Hall
Another thrilling encounter that saw both teams slug it out at St. Gregory’s College, Ikoyi. Corona School, Agbara were the one to draw the first blood going one up before Atlantic Hall replied with four wonderous strikes that saw emerge winners of the game. Tsakmia Jedidiah of Atlantic Hall, Epe won the Most Valuable Player of the Match Award.
